📣 Seven Knots Productions is now Seven Knots Film & Media! When Seven Knots first started in 2014, we made mostly wedding films. Our first non-wedding client was a non-profit. We were fortunate to find our first agency client in our own backyard. And that was just in year 1. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Extrapolate that out 6 years, and you can only imagine how much has changed (and not changed). Our quality and clientele will always evolve, but our main mission remains the same: to move audiences to think, feel, and act in a new way by telling heartfelt and visually compelling stories. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That's why we thought it was time for us to evolve our branding (along with a subtle name change and website facelift). The goal was to keep the overall theme: a version of our balloon person, who represents venturing into the unknown and going on a journey of discovery, much like the creative process (too on the nose?). Additionally, we wanted an updated typeface to modernize the look We enlisted the help of @lynx_and_company who brought the vision to life. This sleek and classic-looking balloon person was just what we were looking for. The updated text is bold, but inviting. Thanks to Kim and her team for helping to perfectly encapsulate what Seven Knots is in the (strange) year of 2020. We'd be remiss if we didn't thank Kris Reif for his original design of our logo. As a new company, it's daunting to choose an initial logo. His was so so good, and it made this decision to make a change all the more difficult. But the fact of the matter is his original logo got us to this point today, and it's still very much alive in the design today.
